Conversations about Racism with CEO
I realized I’m not as comfortable as I thought. If I could go back I’d decrease my first number.
I just wanted to thank you for your time today. Your presentation was very relatable & informative & you established an engaging & supportive environment to facilitate growth & for everyone to feel more comfortable with being uncomfortable. Thank you for being willing to make yourself vulnerable to allow us all to learn & improve as individuals, coworkers, & educators. You did a wonderful job & I truly believe that your presence today made a difference in our school. I hope to see you again in the future!
I think it was a good icebreaker and a start to further communication
I answered 8 to the question above because I'm very willing to have the conversations, but I didn't say "10" because I would only want to have the conversations with people who are open to honest discussions without being offended. We can never learn from each other if we're not willing to LISTEN to each other. I thought the session yesterday was EXCELLENT and very much needed. We will need further conversations to really build a climate where we all understand each other and feel mutual respect from each other.

A few open-ended comments:
Best presentation given so far this year!
Great thought and detail, lots of resources and ideas to support students!
Presenters were fabulous-lots of concrete resources shared, thank you!
It is nice to hear that our challenges are similar to others in the country. The support I felt during this webinar was just what I needed!
This was probably one of the most useful webinars I've ever attended! There were so many useful tips. I also have to sing the praises of the presenters themselves. I feel like I've been running on fumes lately, but they helped me to feel empowered, which will help me better support my students.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU! This was on point and very useful. Our team has been inspired and will be planning in new strategies to help students based on information we heard today.
Clearly the presenters were extremely knowledgeable and articulated students' current challenges extremely well. Really appreciate the ideas for helping students, so from this webinar I got: increased awareness of potential issues, ideas for communication, ideas for mitigating stress, and AP support ideas.
